November 2011 United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots As you know the Emerald Coast Toys for Tots has started and they are really gearing up. The Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center is one of the many charities served by Emerald Coast Toys for Tots. November 17th: FedEx will be hosting a Toys for Tots Cookout at their 106 Hill Avenue Location in Fort Walton Beach. Bring a toy or donation and enjoy the cookout. November 17th: Women’s Council of Realtors Mistletoe Marketplace and Toy Drive. November 19th: Stuff the truck events will be held at the Destin Wal-Mart (POC will be Nicole Nolan 850-585-7918) from 10:00 to 3:00 and at the Niceville Wal-Mart (POC will be Susan Rood at 850-855-7411) location from 10:00 to 3:00. November 19th: DJ and Zumba Showcase “partying for a good cause benefiting: Luces Navidenas and Toys for Tots at the Golden Dragon Restaurant and Lounge for more info call 850-368-3505. They are planning a sort, count, bag and tag day on Sunday the 20th at our warehouse in Niceville from 2:00 to 5:00. The warehouse is located at 203 John Sims Parkway, (next to Kentucky Fried Chicken) please join them as they help support our local community. Grand Boulevard Festival of Trees November 22, 2011- December 17, 2011 5 p.m. Come out and enjoy more than a dozen beautifully decorated Christmas trees on public display as the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center vies to win cash prizes for Best of Show and People’s Choice awards. “Festival of Trees” is a Christmas tree decorating contest taking place at Grand Park during which the public can vote for their favorite decorated tree.
