Eating for Advocacy
We are excited to announce that McAlister's Deli in Niceville will host our June Eating for Advocacy. Join us Wednesday, June 28 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the McAlister's Niceville location for dinner. 10% of the proceeds from your dinner will be donated back to ECCAC! Rooted in southern hospitality, McAlister's is known for their large portions, wide variety of menu options, the quaint and friendly environment and delicious sweet tea.
McAlister's Deli is located in front of the Niceville Walmart at  1154 E. John Sims Pkwy
Niceville, Florida, FL 32578.

Smoke on the Coast at Destin Commons
Join us Monday, July 3 for the 7th Annual Smoke on the Coast  BBQ and Fireworks Festival at  Destin Commons . The Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center is pleased to be partnering with BrightView Landscapes Services for another year of barbecue goodness! Your votes can help us raise money to help abused children in our community, s o stop by and vote for us!  Our booth will be set up that afternoon and raffling off a Yeti cooler as well as a kids Frozen basket. Tickets are $1 a ticket or $5 fro 6 tickets. BBQ tasting will start at 6 p.m. with $1 samples. Also, we'll be keeping it cool thanks to Mist Works misters. Stop by and help us

Donate Your Dime
Did you know that Whole Foods Market gives 10 cents per bag to customers who re-use their own shopping bags for their purchased groceries? Starting on April 10th and going through July 2nd, Whole Foods Market by Destin Commons will be hosting the Donate Your Dime fundraiser for ECCAC. Every time you shop, Donate Your Dime and help a child in need!


Stubbs Ortho Paddle Board Raffle
We would like to thank Stubbs Ortho for hosting a BOTE Drift Inflatable Paddle Board Raffle, with proceeds benefitting the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center! From now through June 30, purchase 1 ticket for $5, 3 tickets for $10 or 8 tickets for $20 for your chance to WIN this board! Get your tickets now before time runs out. SAVE THE DATE

T he Northwest Florida Daily News will host their 38th Annual Marvin DeBolt Junior Golf Classic on Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13 at Eglin's Eagle Golf Course. Tee times start at 8 a.m. The tournament is open to boys and girls ages 8 - 18. The deadline for entry is July 18, 2017.

Sponsorships also available! Advertise your business on the course with $50 tee box signs, $100 t-shirt sponsors or for $300, get your logo on the player backpacks. Deadline for sponsorship is June 30. Contact Kim at kim@eccac.org or 850-833-9237x283 for more info.


3rd Annual Wiggin' Out For A Cause
On Thursday, September 7, from 6 to 10 p.m., the 3rd Annual Wiggin' Out For A Cause will happen at Grand Boulevard in the Emerald Coast Theater space with an 80's psychedelic rock 'n roll theme based on the musical  "Hair". The entertaining lady's night out will be filled with wine, food, fun, music and happenings. Upon arriving, ladies will select a mystery swag bag with a wig inside. She will then be whisked away into the style lounge to transform her look with hair and make-up touch up by Avantegarde Salon. Ladies will go on to mix, mingle and partake in many activities throughout the evening, such as live karaoke, photo booth, and more. There will be a silent auction and ladies will be waited on by an outstanding group of men on hand pouring wine. Guests are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets now at $75 each, tickets at the door are $100 per person. VIP tickets that include a designer wig are $100 if pre-purchased, and $125 at the door.

Playhouse Raffle
Watch your email for info on our upcoming playhouse raffle. Playhouse will soon be revealed and on display at LAH Real Estate in Santa Rosa Beach at 3648 W County Hwy 30A. Thanks to the Walton County Prison and LAH Real Estate for making this possible. Tickets available soon.

The ECCAC has a number of volunteer opportunities available. If you are interested in any of the opportunities below or have questions, please email Chelsea@ECCAC.org  or call (850) 833-9237 ext. 256.

Front Desk Volunteers Needed at Both ECCAC Locations
The ECCAC relies on volunteers to keep our front desk staffed at both of our centers. We are looking for front desk volunteers for our center in DeFuniak Springs and Niceville.
Front desk volunteers are also needed at the Niceville center from 5-7p.m. every Thursday. Contact Chelsea to set up training or for any questions.
 
Northwest Florida Daily News Junior Golf CLassic 
Volunteers are needed at the Eglin Golf Course Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13 for the following shifts.

Three volunteers are needed Wednesday July 12 ONLY to assist with golfer registration from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Five  volunteers are needed each day for set up from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Three volunteers are needed each day to set up and tear down lunch from 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Eight  volunteers are needed each day as scorers. Will be responsible for following younger golfers to keep their score from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
*Volunteer should have knowledge of the game of golf.
 
Smoke on the Coast
Volunteers are still needed to assist with the ECCAC booth at Smoke on the Coast at Destin Commons on Monday July 3 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. T-shirts will be provided!

The ECCAC is now looking for donations of the following items...

Ice for Smoke on the Coast! We will be icing down 500 bottles of water, and are looking for a business or individual who can donate an adequate amount of ice. The ECCAC will be able to pick up ice from donor.

In an effort to raise as much money as possible during the Destin Commons' Smoke on the Coast BBQ Festival, we are seeking donations of Walmart or Sam's Club gift cards to assist with the food supplies for our BBQ team. Additionally, we are looking to borrow a couple of LARGE coolers to put bottled water in.

Two large flashlights are needed for the Niceville center.

4th of July decorations, including red, white, and blue candy and Red, white, and blue tootsie pops

School Supplies and Back Packs for school aged children

Do you have a tailgating tent ECCAC can borrow? We are need of 10 logoed tents with either collegiate or NFL logos for our Team Up & Tailgate event on Saturday, September 9 at the Destin Commons. The tents will be used inside and will be returned that following Monday, September 11.

Empty baskets, all shapes and sizes, are needed for the upcoming Team Up & Tailgate silent auction.

Available Sponsorships
The ECCAC is currently looking for sponsors for the Northwest Florida Daily News 38th Annual Marvin DeBolt Junior Golf Classic. Sponsorships include $50 tee box signs, $100 t-shirt sponsors, and a $300 player backpack sponsors with your business logo displayed. Deadline for sponsors is June 30th.

Our 3rd Annual Wiggin' Out For A Cause is set for Thursday, September 7. Hosted by Grand Boulevard the event will take place from 6-10 p.m. at the Emerald Coast Theater Company's space on the second story above Brooks Brothers. Sponsorships range from $500 to $1,000. For those looking to make in-kind donations, we are seeking a business and/or individual to donate wine and beer for the night's attendees. 

The ECCAC has a multiple sponsorship opportunities available for our  Team Up & Tailgate  event on Saturday, September 9 and the Kieran May Memorial Golf Classic on Sept 10. Opportunities start at $1000. 

ECCAC is excited to be involved in another year of the Destin Charity Cornhole Tournament on October 1. In advance of the tournament, we are seeking board sponsors. Your $200 donation will provide one corn hole set for volunteer artists to decorate for the event. In return, your name will be listed in our e-advertising leading up to the event, as well as with the board on event day. These fabulous corn hole sets will be auctioned off at the end of the event. Additionally, we are in need of a $300 wristband sponsor. Recognition for this sponsor will be given in our e-advertising as well as having your logo on each of the player and beer lounge wristbands.

The Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center would like to extend a BIG thanks
to our front desk volunteers, June and Bernadette. June took it upon herself to replace the plexiglass on the front desk in our Niceville center so the volunteers can read information more clearly. Additionally, Bernadette is coming in every Tuesday for two hours to help us with odd jobs.

Again, we'd like to thank the Walton County Prison for the playhouse they built and donated to our center.We are planning to raffle it off to raise funds needed to help children in our community. Thanks guys for all your hard work!!


Special thanks to the local artists who have agreed to paint a custom cornhole board for us to use during the Destin Charity Corn Hole tournament. Following the tournament we will be auctioning off the boards to raise funds for our centers. Keep an eye out for photos of each custom board to place you bid. Boards are being decorated by volunteer artists Velia Lala, Patti Gillespie,  Alex Pottinger and Melanie Moore.
