Meet Audie Rowell!

With an extensive career in law enforcement since 1986, and the recipient of numerous awards, Major Rowell has worked with the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Tallahassee Police Department, and now the Walton County Sheriff's Office. He has served Walton County as the Internal Affairs Commander, Professional Standards Bureau Chief, Support Services Bureau Chief, Patrol Bureau Chief, and is currently the Director of Emergency Services. Being involved in the community is high on Major Rowell's priorities as he serves on the Walton County Area Chamber Board, the Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers Board, and now ECCAC's Board. He and his wife, Cheri, have four children.

"The Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center is dedicated to helping abused children through the horrific events that occur in their lives," commented Major Rowell. "I am honored to be a part of such a tremendous organization that puts children first.

Thank you to Team Sandestin for sponsoring nine of our families this year for Adopt-A-Family! Because of them and all of our other amazing sponsors, our children in need and their families will be able to have a Christmas this year!

Dr. Brodie Bowman and his team stepped up as Adopt-A-Family volunteers this year, and we are so thankful for all of their help this Christmas!

It was another great turnout for our annual Children's Christmas Party. Thank you to Crosspoint Church in Niceville for hosting us. The families that attended all had a wonderful time!

We give PetSmart two paws up! We'd  like  to thank them for donating tons of stuffed animals. Our children are going to love receiving these furry friends!
