Support Child Abuse Prevention Month

Sponsor a class or school.

Our Prevention Team consists of Community Outreach Advocates who provide in-person training to the children of the Okaloosa and Walton County School Districts through the Monique Burr Foundation Safety Program. They provide in-depth, exciting, and interactive lessons to help children understand ways to keep themselves safe, how to spot a safe adult, encourage disclosure of abuse, and how to identify unsafe situations. These free services are a proven successful method in teaching children strategies to disclose unsafe relationships and empowering them to use their voices to keep themselves safe.

During the month of April, our team will visit 32 schools within the Okaloosa and Walton County School Districts and teach MBF Child Safety Matters™  lessons to K-5 classes.

To provide these free services, we need your help. Further our mission by sponsoring a class or entire school.
